I got a little inspired and thought it over. Most of the characters in Sly Cooper are rather anthropomorphic yet Clockwerk is just a giant actual owl. Why is that? And I came up with this version.

The Eye of Horus! Possibly the treasure that Cooper's ancestor and Clockwerk fought over and was the one and last treasure Clockwerk ever succeeded in stealing. The gem was imbued with mystical powers that Clockwerk succeeded in unlocking, but turned him into a monster!

Perhaps he kept the gem with him all these years and made it part of his Hate Chip, thus the reason why his parts aged with the destruction of the chip.

This is at best a draft, but I love it none the less. I hope ya'll enjoy it too.

Only this.

Very good idea, i alwais want to know why clockwerk is a simple giant owl and other characters are rather anthropomorphic.
Maybe this is a reason.

In sly 4 probably we will travel in time. I hope to see clockwerk again and discover why he hate cooper family so deep :D

what woould be cool is if clockwerk wasnt acutally evil that slyticummin betrayed him and thus is rage towards the coopers

Harky hell, that sounds like a great idea for an episode if the gang ever goes back in time! Would also establish some much needed background about Clockwerk!

Oh who am I fooling? Clockwerk doesn't need background to be a good villain.

Not a bad idea. Not bad at all. :meow: Does give some explanation to why Clockwerk is drastically different, other than for artistic style in the game.

Love the idea of "SLY COOPER IN", too. :XD:

that's definitely not a bad concept at all. How clockwerk was anthropomorphic before he became a giant owl.
It certainly sounds more credible than mine...that clockwerk was once a gentle peaceful owl transformed into a monster via alchemy to get revenge against Cooper.
